Our family has grown by one for this month leading up to Christmas. Elfie has come to stay and we are having so much fun with him! He was having some homesickness his first night with us, so he found a nice cold place to remind him of home :)
He warmed up after that with some hot chocolate with marshmallows :) His sweet tooth fits in well here!
Once he felt more at home, he got to know the other toys in the house by hosting a small tea.
Before we were able to decorate the house, he brought some Christmas spirit.

While collecting jingle bells for the reindeer, he was pinned under a pine cone. The kids had to carefully help it off before bed the next night so he could fly to the North Pole. They were so careful not to touch him in the process:)
This was my favorite one so far! A snowball showdown in the kids' bathroom.

I think it is safe to say that Bionicle lost!
I am having so much fun finding new mischief for our Elfie. The kids race around first thing in the morning until they find him and report his newest antics to me. To watch their excitement each morning is almost as good as Christmas for a whole month! Such a fun tradition! We are so glad to have this temporary family member!
